| CMCH Synopsis: |
1,900 teens filled out a questionnaire about whether they watched a particular cricket match on TV and how they felt about smoking. They wanted to see if the fact that a tobacco company sponsored a particular cricket match made a difference in how teens felt about smoking. They found that teens who watched the cricket match were more likely to experiment with tobacco, even though they were aware of how bad smoking is for their health. © Center on Media and Child Health
