Cell Phones in the Classroom?

According to a new study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, a large number of schools treat cell phones as a disruptive force that must be managed and often excluded from the school and the classroom. Can cell phones find their way into the classroom as a learning tool?


CMCH Director, Dr. Michael Rich argues that cell phones are part of the student's lives and schools and teachers rather than banning  cell phones, should tap into the power of these technologies and use them as educational tools.
